Crazy stats, but we all know the feeling. You don’t have to have “hard data” to know that dealing with a manager who has NO leadership capabilities will wear you out over time. But having a bad boss can cost you more than just stress at work. The effects can be both mentally and physically damaging. A recent survey found that U.S. employees spend an average of 13 hours during the workweek and 6.2 hours over the weekend worrying about what their boss says or does. Together that adds up to 19.2 hour a week of lament over bad boss woes. Turns out, unreasonable or ineffective supervisors don’t just affect your work life, they can indirectly damage your family life too.
